There are some who will say Gary Carter was the classiest man to ever put on a Mets uniform. Others might even say George Thomas Seaver. But having read this letter penned by RA Dickey, it confirmed it for me -- the guy is just a wonderful human being. And with that said, it should be no surprise the clueless powers-that-be who run this organization would just trade him away. I understand the Mets got a great package in return -- but it'll be another 4 years before any of that matters.
