Readers didn't get what they wanted

Hudson Line visitors spoke out about Mike and the Mad Dog—and they didn't get what they wanted. Of those polls, 43 percent wanted Chris Russo—who left WFAN for Sirius—to remain at the FAN. Only 21 percent wanted Mike Francesa to stay. Some 31 percent wanted both Mike and Chris to go—and 6 percent said they couldn't tolerate losing either Mike or Dog. Be sure to take part in our new poll in the left sidebar.

Latest poll: Obama with huge lead over McCain in Jersey

The latest Farleigh Dickinson poll indicates a huge lead for Democrat Barack Obama in the New Jersey race for the White House.

The poll, taken between June 17-23, has Obama with a 49 to 33 percent lead over Republican Presidential hopeful John McCain. The poll asked 702 voters who they'd be voting for in the November general election. The 16 percent lead for Obama is one of the widest in the entire country.

New Jersey, which last voted in the majority for a Republican in 1988, has 15 Electoral Votes up for grabs.

Carlos Delgado's non-homerun

So did you see Carlos Delgado's homerun getting taken away by a bad reversed call last night? It couldn't have been clearer the ball was fair since it hit the fair pole. This all brings up the old question about whether there should be instant replay in baseball. Be sure to take our poll on the subject below.
