Obama Veep will be announced Friday, CBS News says

Barack Obama is expected to text message who his vice-presidential choice is to his base—and then make a formal announcement sometime Friday, CBS News is reporting. He is then expected to campaign with the new veep candidate Saturday in Illinois, according to MSNBC.
