You may recall there was a serious Mother's Day fire on St. Paul's Avenue in Jersey City. There are some great videos on YouTube where you can see the absolutely horrendous conditions under which firefighters had to operate.Firefighters can be heard screaming for a roof ladder, and the commanding officer can also be heard ordering firefighters off the roof of the very unstable building.
