About Lefty Views

Canessa hosting his show.
Lefty Views is a website put together in 2012 by 20-year journalist Kevin Canessa Jr. An admitted liberal,  Kevin's career began in journalism when he was 17, as a stringer for The Jersey Journal newspaper in Jersey City, N.J.

He's worked at other publications, including the national magazine
DiversityInc, and weeklies including The Observer of Kearny, N.J. and The Sun newspapers of South Jersey, published by Elauwit Media.

He's also worked in radio as a producer for Sid Rosenberg, currently of WMEN, 640 Radio out of Pompano Beach, Fla., and formerly of WFAN and Imus in the Morning, WQAM, and WAXY (Miami). He's also the webmaster for Rosenberg's personal website.

KC in 60
is a newsmagazine show that is broadcast live, here, periodically -- and hosted by Canessa.

He talks politics, news, and sports — and the host is not afraid to ruffle the feathers of his political enemies. (Canessa is rather liberal, except when it comes to issues of crime).

Canessa is originally from Jersey City, N.J., having lived also for many years in Kearny, N.J. He currently resides in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

On LeftyViews.com, most of what you see and read will be progressive. However, we do welcome guest columns from those who aren't exactly progressive.
