Big Crowd for a Tuesday at Citi

Gee lost his first game of the year to
lower his record to 7-1. Oh, and
Jason Bay hit his third home run
of the season. Celebrate!

More than 37,000 showed up for Tuesday's Mets-A's tilt at Citi Field. Wonder why? Perhaps people were expecting to see Dillon Gee go to 8-0? (He didn't). 

Maybe it was the old uniforms the A's wore -- and the Mets wore -- making it look like 1973 all over again? Whatever it was, they all left disappointed as the Metsies dropped their third in four games. 

Jason Bay did have two extra-base hits though, including his third home run of the season.
