'Taste of the Meadowlands' set for Sept. 10

The Meadowlands Regional Chamber will once again host "Taste of the Meadowlands," an annual event that showcases the region's culinary diversity, on Sept. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Secaucus [2 Harmon Plaza].  The event will feature top restaurants in the Meadowlands region offering sample portions of their house specialties.

This year, the Taste of the Meadowlands has been combined with another core event of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber, the Small Business Expo.  Both events have, in the past, commanded large audiences, and the chamber is expecting a successful turnout for this newly combined event.

“Our Taste of the Meadowlands event has been a long standing tradition here at the Chamber and within the Meadowlands Community,” said Jim Kirkos, CEO of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber.  “It’s a great event that brings out families and local vendors to share in the best food of the Meadowlands.”

Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Maggiano’s Little Italy and Mama Mexico are among the 12 restaurants already confirmed to exhibit at the event, which is being sponsored by Palisades Medical Center, MIB Productions, Inc., Personal Touch Caterers and Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center. The event will feature live music and entertainment. Admission is $25 for members of the chamber, and $35 for Non-Members.
