Somehow, it seems like the Jets moved back to New York. And it seemed the same a few months ago when the Giants, who haven't played in New York since 1975, paraded their way down the Canyon of Heroes a few days after they won the Super Bowl.
Last week, new Jets quarterback Brett Favre took part in a press conference with New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. The mayor gave Favre a "Broadway" sign, reminiscent of the days of "Broadway Joe" Namath.
